A Spooky Surprise!

It was a dark and creepy night. The moon was hidden by clouds, and the only light came from twinkling stars. Little ones were tucked safely in their beds, but deep in the woods, something unusual was about to happen. Suddenly, a big beast with bright eyes peeked out from behind a tree. He had pointy teeth and rough skin.

"Boo!" he screamed. Other monsters emerged from the trees, all shouting "Boo!" at the same time. They were having so much laughter scaring each other! One little beastie was shy. He didn't want to say "Boo!" because he thought it would be too creepy. But then, a big creature with a kind smile said, "Don't worry, little one. It's just for fun! Let's all say 'Boo!' together." And so they did, laughing and having a great time on this spooky Halloween night.

My Friend the Friendly Ghost

It all started one rainy afternoon. I was drawing in my room when I heard a funny noise. It sounded like someone was giggling just outside my door. Excited, I slowly crept over and peeked through the keyhole. There, standing in my hallway, was the most unusual sight!

It was a short ghost with big eyes and a smiling face. "Hello," it whispered. "My name is Bob, and I'm your new friend!"

I was so amazed that I could barely speak. But then, I started to giggle because his tone was so nice.

We became the best of friends. It would often appear in my room and we would talk together. He even taught me how to levitate!

That Friendly Phantom

When I first/began/started to see him, I was terrified. He was always there, watching/looking/peeking from the corner of my eye, but he never showed/appeared/came close. My parents thought I was being silly, but I knew better. This wasn't a game.

This invisible friend, who I named Zippy, was actually quite nice. He would whisper jokes/make funny noises/tell silly stories in my ear and he was always there to comfort me. Now, looking back, I think he was just a lonely little ghost/spirit/phantom who wanted a friend too.
